Our growth charts are built to last a lifetime from materials that honor the environment: soy-based inks and formaldehyde free plywood. The inks are incredibly rich and feature UV technology that will preserve the artwork for 100 years (literally). The growth chart surface is highly durable and can be wiped down should the need arise.
Most growth charts on the market have a fixed ruler labeled with numbers, but our charts have inch demarcations that you label once the chart is in place. This way, families of all heights can enjoy use our charts – taller families can install it higher and not so tall families can install the chart lower. In addition, our ruler is located on the side of the chart, so that names, dates and height lines are the only marks on the front.

Directions for installation:You will need a measuring tape/ruler, a small screw or nail ( 3/4” to 1 ¾” long) and a screw driver or hammer. Our growth charts are designed to be hung approximately 20-26" from the floor, depending on the height of your family. For a family of average height, we suggest hanging your chart at 22" from the floor. For shorter families, subtract two inches and for taller ones, add as many as you feel appropriate. Inches are marked on the side of the chart and you can letter specific inch demarcations (ie. 30, 40, 50, 60) once you have your chart in place.
Remove the backs of the foam squares that came with the chart and place one square toward the bottom of the chart and one square in the middle of the chart. Now remove the protective paper to reveal their sticky side.
Determine how high you wish to hang your chart; measure on the wall with your tape and mark how far up in inches you wish to hang it. Place your screw or nail at this spot and hammer in until it is sticking out about 1/8th of an inch from the wall. Hang the chart and press firmly over the areas where the sticky foam is located. Now you are ready to customize your ruler with numbers.
